  • 4 chronological steps towards adaptivity
  • 2 steps to capture information, 2 steps to regulate it
  • 4 skills per step to guide action
  • An assessment through our everyday decisions and actions
  • The switch from reactive mode to adaptive mode
  • Applicable in any situation, positive or negative

Capture better to regulate better

The R.E.A.L. Profile draws on the latest findings in neuroscience and positive psychology. It measures the ability to adapt to difficult, unexpected situations across four areas.

  • Cognitive adaptivity Choose a thinking process that makes it easier to switch to the adaptive brain.
  • Emotional adaptivity Awareness of yourself and others, self-management and emotional regulation.
  • Behavioural adaptivity Avoid the “trap behaviours” of each D.i.S.C.® profile.
  • Adaptivity to frustration Take the time to step away from a situation before looking for a solution.

Frequently asked questions

How long does it take to debrief the R.E.A.L. Profile?

Allow 40 minutes to one hour for a basic debrief. You can also include the questions we provide to help the person integrate their results and identify ways to develop: allow about two hours in that case.

When should I use the R.E.A.L. Profile?

Individually, at the start or in the middle of a coaching engagement; you can offer a second one at the end to measure progress. In teams, have every member complete the profile, then choose to send them the report or to wait for the workshop to hand it over.

How do I generate the R.E.A.L. Team Profile?

Create an assignment group to give each team member an individual profile, then generate the team profile. It is free: it averages the participants who completed their profile, and you can regenerate it as many times as you like.

As a certified practitioner, how much will I pay for R.E.A.L. Profiles?

Certified coaches, consultants, trainers and HR professionals benefit from volume pricing. The Team Profile is free. Full pricing is available on the profile purchase page. neurosensorial-institute.com/contact/achat-profil

Loïc Lauwers Manager and facilitator coach, Unisk (Belgium)
« The R.E.A.L. Profile is a beautiful tool that supports prefrontal thinking. I coach executives and managers with DISC and EIQ2, and for me R.E.A.L. remains the “holy grail” to help people spot the traps of automatic thinking and the need to switch to adaptive mode. What a lovely journey, in joy and good spirits! »
